Optional Living and Learning Community
Upon entering the University of Texas, students admitted to the program will have the opportunity to join a living and learning community with their program cohort.
Freshman Research Initiative (FRI)
During their freshman year, students will join the largest undergraduate research program in the country through the FRI. This empowers first-year students to engage in real-world robotics research with Texas Robotics faculty. Students can continue their research into later undergraduate years, even outside of the College of Natural Sciences.
Minor in Robotics
Upon admission, students are offered a spot in the Robotics Minor, contingent on academic success. Starting sophomore or junior year, they pursue interdisciplinary robotics studies, including "RBT 350," an exclusive "Introduction to Robotics" course that allows them to take robotics courses outside their major and college.
