Texas Robotics Symposium 2022
Thank you to everyone who made the 2022 Texas Robotics Symposium possible.
The Texas Robotics Symposium was held November 3rd and 4th in partnership with Good Systems. With over 24 poster presentations, 22 talks, and 11 robot demonstrations there was plenty for the over 200 attendees to enjoy!
The talks featured topics in all sectors of robotics from a multidisciplinary approach. There were notable talks from guests like Amir Husain from Spark Cognition and Peter Stone, the director of Texas Robotics.
The afternoon of day one, 24 students presented poster presentations and over 100 students, faculty, and industry representatives attended the simultaneous networking event. Attendees voted on their favorite poster's, and we held the first annual Golden Robot Awards for students. The winners were as follows:
Best Overall: Susheela Sharma
World Changer: Ozdemir Can Kara
Faculty Choice: Oguzhan Akcin
Most Creative: Max Rudolph
On day 2, we also demonstrated robots for attendees to watch. This included Virtual Reality simulations and in person demonstrations. Among the robots demonstrated was the Di Vinci Robot, Grasping Robots, the Harmony Exoskeleton, and more.
