Texas Robotics proudly celebrated the achievements of its first cohort of students to complete the Undergraduate Minor in Robotics, a cross-disciplinary program launched in the 2023–2024 academic year. The program allows students majoring in aerospace engineering, electrical and computer engineering, computational engineering, computer science, and mechanical engineering to develop robust skills in robotics while pursuing their primary degree.

In addition to recognizing undergraduate students, the celebration also honored five graduate students who completed the Texas Robotics Graduate Portfolio Program, an initiative that formally recognizes students’ concentrated efforts in robotics research and coursework during their graduate studies.

Faculty, staff, and families gathered to recognize the accomplishments of these students during a graduation event hosted by Texas Robotics. The celebration featured certificate presentations, gift baskets, and opportunities for graduates to connect with one another and with the broader robotics community at UT Austin.

Graduates from both programs are pursuing a variety of exciting opportunities, including advanced degrees at top institutions and full-time positions in robotics, technology, and engineering fields.

Texas Robotics congratulates its newest alumni and looks forward to celebrating future cohorts who will continue advancing innovation at the intersection of engineering and robotics.
